Judge Malcolm Simmons served as an international criminal judge from 2004 to 2017 hearing serious organised crime cases. He is highly experienced dealing with complex, serious crimes. Judge Simmons presided in many complex, high-profile criminal cases. He was a member of judicial councils in Bosnia & Herzegovina and in Kosovo.
